Welcome to the Forum.

 

Charming and lovely for subject, selective focus, light and color. I think it would be a bit stronger with one or two inches cropped from the left, putting more open space in front of where the little girl is looking.

Mjw. WOW.. beautiful portrait. you did it all right and nailed it.

 

Two things... the image seems a bit greenish on my monitor. Im with Stuart on the space in front of the face.. its a motion thing, we don't like the idea of almost bumping into the edge of the space. (generally)

 

I messed with your image and did a conservative crop and a bit more aggressive, personally that kid rocks, and I would go for the tight crop.

I agree with Stuart. What a lovely portrait. To be treasured for years. You really nailed it although the suggested cropping might improve it even more.
