sclamb Posted May 17, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 17, 2009 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I took the DL4 along today. My mother was quiet and sat for a long time pulling a jumper tight to her, like a comfort blanket. She seemed thoughtful and was very confused about things today. topoxforddoc Posted May 17, 2009 Share #4 Posted May 17, 2009 Simon, There's a lot of pathos in these images. I like the last one best - you wonder what's going on as she looks away. Thanks Charlie

Marquinius Posted May 18, 2009 Share #9 Posted May 18, 2009 Simon, I simply love this series. You have truly "seen" her. Sharing it is very special, as she is obviously a very special and close subject to share. Marco
sclamb Posted May 18, 2009 Author Share #10 Posted May 18, 2009 Wow, thanks to you all for such wonderful comments. I wasn't expecting such a response. My longer term intention is to make a book of all the pictures of my parents that I can give to my children in the hope that it will survive down the generations as a pictorial memory of the family tree. With the right paper and binding it should hopefully stand the test of time. Thanks again, you comments are very much appreciated.
