1) Bill - Retail Reflections - a well seen composition, which utilises the colour capabilities of the camera well (also very possibly posted inverted for effect ??).

2) Farnz - Water of Life - Utilises the macro capabilities of the camera, which are rarely seen on the forum, in a well judged and balanced composition, which is not that easy to achieve

3) Alan Philpotts - Psycho - a well executed composition, freezing the droplets of water precisely, in a B+W composition with a wide and attractive tonal range, which is no mean achievement - (as is also not getting the lens wet!! :))

First, 3 points - Alan Philpotts - a striking image that is reminiscent of a film still

Second, 2 points - Essemmlee - beautifully done, and truly surprising

Third, 1 point - Farnz - rich, sumptuous and eye-catching use of colour

The sheer variety of interpretations of this theme - all executed with the same basic camera - show both the versatility of the equipment and the fertility of people's imagination.

Regards,

Bill

1. Farnz - Water of Life

2. Andrease2000 - Athens
