Here are my votes, some excellent images but I've gone for the ones which I think are most relevant to the current recesssion.

 

1 soleforeal / Ford (like the colours and it graphically illustrates the state of the auto industry in this recession!)

 

2 dhsimmonds / Southampton (I chose this because of the 'credit crunch' sign)

 

3 farnz / last left standing (I recognise the scene! The area is due to be redeveloped but it appears that things have been mothballed due to the recession. No one will take a new lease and the remaining shops are really struggling to survive).

1st - Ford

3rd - Disparity

 

My great compliments to all competitors, not just those I have voted for. I seriously had great difficulty separating some entries. If I were to "vote again" later in the day I would probably come up with a different order and different entries. I believe it is that close. So Far, I have not checked other voters but will do so now to see if anyone agrees with me! :D
