Riccis Posted April 7, 2009 Share #23 Posted April 7, 2009 this must be an 'a la carte'-model for wedding photographers... I will not buy it, though... I have some very funky clients (red dresses, etc...) so this one will not blend at all Cheers,
twittle Posted April 7, 2009 Share #24 Posted April 7, 2009 Actually the Herme's edition was cool! I didn't mean to imply it wansn't.
cbretteville Posted April 7, 2009 Share #25 Posted April 7, 2009 Could be useful camoflague if you're in the frozen wastes of northern Canada or the Antarctic... Or in my front yard, still lots of snow here. - Carl
farnz Posted April 7, 2009 Share #26 Posted April 7, 2009 You gave yourself away with the red dot, Brad: it ain't an M8.2. Pete.

carstenw Posted April 7, 2009 Share #28 Posted April 7, 2009 Pentax has a white edition of the K-m out right now. I have seen it at the local Saturn, and as expected, it looks bizarre: It appears to be called the K-2000 in some markets.
Nicoleica Posted April 7, 2009 Share #29 Posted April 7, 2009 Here you go, and a few more! If only it were real. I would certainly buy one. There are no rules that say you can't have a wonderful camera that looks cool too.
steamboat Posted April 7, 2009 Share #30 Posted April 7, 2009 White would be the thing for medical photographers, too. The picture of the Hermes M doesn't do it justice. I really needs the very cool Hermes neckstrap attached to it. It was aimed at the horsey/polo set.
rosuna Posted April 7, 2009 Share #31 Posted April 7, 2009 Here you go, and a few more! The Warhol collection !!!!!
JeffreyTotaro Posted April 7, 2009 Share #32 Posted April 7, 2009 I like all of these variations, however I'd be more likely to buy a Hermes LTD MP and put it on a shelf than an M8.x (safari, panda, white) however. They seem more transient than the film cameras especially since the MP will work forever with little maintenance. But that assumes film will continue to be made. I think with celebs interested in these camera they will continue to make fashion cameras, but hey why not they look cool.

I really needs the very cool Hermes neckstrap attached to it. It was aimed at the horsey/polo set. Maybe one for surgeons to match their "greens" which seem to be all light blue these days. You could get artists to paint a few copies as art editions for charities.

JeffreyTotaro Posted April 7, 2009 Share #38 Posted April 7, 2009 Where do I get that lens shade for the 28 Elmarit? Is it a special edition too? I can't seem to locate it. There's just the rectangular one that comes with the lens. I like the round vented hood. Does it come in Black? How about Titanium?

Jeffrey, Here's a link to a black, metal, after-market, round, vented hood from Heavystar that'll fit the 28/2.8 Elmarit asph. I haven't seen a chrome or titanium one for sale but you should be able to find a suitable coloured paint ... Pete.
