I don't understand this. Has he charged you a hefty entrance fee to his site? I look at the site for free, and his archives [on Nikon for example] can be extremely useful and informative. [shit, he's reading this and chuckling isn't he?].

It's a generality and that's why you can't discuss it.

 

But you can however discuss Rockwell who has never posted any interesting photographs and claim he doesn't because it would make him a photographer and then he would have to pay much more in insurance. So he doesn'tphotograph. He's a jerk. I stumbled over his page when I was researching a Nikon zoom and his conclusion was that the 150$ was better than the 2000$ because the cheaper one was not so heavy.

 

He does have an issue with money, probably because he doesn't make any honest money himself. Sitting there amongst his donated discount-Nikon gear being angry with us Leicaphiles photographing from our open cars.

Considering he owns Leica stuff himself & combined with fact that the decription is clearly a caricature, I would read this as clearly tongue in cheek. I guess he is rather pleased with all the flack this is causing over here, or maybe disappointed that it was not taken in the way it was intended.

 

His description of the "Leicaman" is so far beside the actual average user that I fail to see why anyone would get exited about this.
