D-Lux 4 Challenge #1 - Theme and dates

The theme is: RECESSION

 

There is barely a corner of the world that has not been touched by the economic downturn. In the first half of the 20th Century, the Leica was at the forefront of recording the effects of the Great Depression. Your challenge is to use your D-Lux 4 or LX-3 to produce a modern representation of the current recession.

 

Dates:

 

Image capture: 20.03.2009 until 03.04.2009 (two weeks)

 

Image posting: 04.04.2009 until 11.04.2009 (one week)

 

Voting: 12.04.2009 until 26.04.2009 (two weeks)

 

The winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
