michali Posted February 24, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 24, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) M8 & 90mm ELMARIT Vine snake, deadly, however not agressive, lives in trees. I came accross this one in a tree (obviously) outside my bedroom. It's amazing how well they're camouflaged and blend in with the tree. Thanks for viewing

jaapv Posted February 24, 2009 Share #3 Posted February 24, 2009 You don't see them that often, I think, but they must be quite common. They are backfanged if I recall correctly?

Andreas thank you, I heard a couple of weavers going completely crazy in the tree and I figured there must be a snake upsetting these birds. had a good look around and saw the snake. QUOTE: Jaap, yes they are back fanged, a timid snake, but as I mentioned very venomous and there is no anti-venom for its bite. Stuart, Soohn, Martin, David, Ben & Virgil- Thank you taking the time to comment, always appreciated.
