1st Brigade Band

The uniforms and instruments here are the originals from Wisconsin's 1st Brigade Band during the Civil War. They were part of a Lincoln's Birthday celebration at our state capitol today and the sound they produced was amazing--very harmonic. D-LUX-4.

While the instruments are most likely originals, I don't know of anyone making Saxhorns today, I strongly doubt that the uniforms are original Civil War uniforms. Authentic maybe but not originals as original CW frock coats are worth in excess of $10,000 each on the collectors market today. Still nice shots, especially #1.
