I do not have a studio so I used natural lightening. I think I need to find a way to brighten up the background. Â Post processing consisted of selective saturation of the orange sweater, a bit of curves, and some selective sharpening of the eyes. With those smashing eyes and great skin tone, I don't know why you choose to highlight the background. It should almost be invisible & let you daughter create the light & glow. Very encouraging because I want to shoot a whole series of these types of portraits  Ben, the idea was to make the background disappear by making it more white, but perhaps it does indeed work better if the background does not glow too much.  Georg  PS: On my first M8 body, it was almost impossible to get the focus of the 75 lux right, although I had send the lens and the camera to Solms for calibration of the lens and the rangefinder.
