otto.f Posted April 15, 2015 Share #15124 Posted April 15, 2015 If you mean France, I meant with Catalogne the French part of Catalunya. So just to check: it is not on the French coast south of Narbonne?

otto.f Posted April 15, 2015 Share #15126 Posted April 15, 2015 This should be Collioure, but it is so quiet. Is this on Earth or in some parallel universum? Or during the fifties?

stefans4 Posted April 16, 2015 Share #15130 Posted April 16, 2015 Could this be in Munich, Germany?
otto.f Posted April 17, 2015 Share #15131 Posted April 17, 2015 Yes München is correct. Do you know what building this is?
stefans4 Posted April 23, 2015 Share #15132 Posted April 23, 2015 oh, sorry, I was away for a couple of days... It should be the new stairway in the 'Alte Pinakothek', an art museum for Old Masters. "New" stairway because it was part of the fabulous re-commissioning of the museum by Hans Doellgast in the 1950's. "Fabulous" because this was decidedly not a restoration to the pre-WWII state but lets the building subtly but clearly keep (and show) its wounds - reminding us of Germany's darkest time 1933-45 and of the wounds she inflicted. Sorry if I got carried away. And if the answer is correct I don't even have anything to show to this distinguished audience...
