I think that some people have commitments that keep them from taking part in this & other Threads as often as they might like to. Sometimes there is an ebb & flow in participation. You forgot one thighslapper, Alsace is most close. I thought the red colors would suggest the region. They make mustard not for from here, and of course wine, one of the greatest wine-regions of France. The castle is not far from one of the famous brands of the region. But this can't be true as Alsace would not be the region closest to it of the regions mentioned by thighslapper: both (Champagne-)Ardenne and Lorraine would be closer. Alsace would be closest to Franche-Comte, however (which originally had "Burgundy" in its name as well). "Vin jaune" from there is fairly famous, although by far not as much as Bourgogne wine. The region might be better known for cheese than for mustard, but Dijon is not far. So I don't know. Based on your clues I would still guess Franche-Comte.
