Seems like it. Hello Michael, are you there? We are in Budapest actually, quite in the city centre and I am only waiting to hear what this building is.... And no, it is not a mosque, although it looks like one. It was built in 1912 (by a guy called Kornél Neuschloss-Knüsli) and it has a somewhat surprising use. Want to give it another try? Or perhaps somebody else, if Michael is off-line? Best, Martin

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for your considerate replys.

I just guess close in this & the other Thread "From Above" & I never actually give the answer. I am self taught with computers & haven't figured out how to put a picture on the screen when I win. Many helpful Forum members have tried to help & have offered suggestions along with references to guides within the Forum. All with no sucess.

Originally: In the past I used to actually win & then would pass my turn on to someone else. This was too cumbersome & it sometimes took too long to find another person to put another picture on the Thread.

I therefore decided to only guess nearby, but not too close, in order to help someone else figure out the location.

I only guess from what I know personally with a relatively simple Atlas to help. I don't use Gooogle or the big Wiki in the sky.

Could this be East of some parts of Buda?

Best Regards,

Michael

Hello Michael, I will hand this one over to you, in appreciation of the efforts you put in figuring this out and in recognition that it was not a completely straightforward task (and not easy to figure out using Google). The building is the elephant house of the Budapest ZOO, built in 1912 in the then fashionable art nouveau style. There are several other structures in the zoo that were built in this style (including the entrance gate). A good zoo to visit, and one of the three oldest in Europe, I believe.

Over to you and thanks for your efforts.

Thank you, Michael, I accept the invitation.

Where are we now? Not just the town, but also the neighborhood, and for 'extra credit' the address.
