Welcome to the Forum. You seem to have a very good eye and I look forward to seeing many more of your photos. I like both of these form moment, composition, detail, light contrast and tonal range. Generally I prefer kid shots from their eyelevel but you've very successfully transcended that problem, and in #2 catching her completely in the air helps.

Like Brett, I'm a special fan of the first one, which seems to be a psychological narrative about anguish & the narrowness of the way the boy has just traveled.

 

Or else my imagination is running away with me again.

Both are powerful in their own way. In fact, I find the first one somewhat difficult to look at (he looks trapped and in anguish -what a composition!). The second one is a classic; totally delightful.
