On a trip along the Mekong, endless opportunities for photography. I really love those haphazzardly built houses, poles and beams criss crossing, corrugated iron roofs and all. And a lot of them have TV. Better than some huts I saw further on ...

@all: Thank you for your comments! For me this picture had two things: the antenna's (in print you even see the wires holding them up) and the possibility of endless looking for new things to see.

I love this image.

Tremendous three dimensionality to it and lots to discover! frankly I prefer this to the other - bearing in mind the other one is excellent, too.

I suddenly realise that viewers see them as separate photo's, while in my mind it is more of a series. I'm busy building up a new website.

 

I like this one because there is indeed a lot to see, but the one with the boats has more depth.

 

That's the nice thing about this whole photo stuff: as well on the photographers side, as on the viewers' everybody can take their own viewpoint.

Sharookh: I really learned from the "seven point system" by Kelby. That gives you a perfect color version to start from towards B&W. I was amazed what happened with the shadows under the houses.
