Jaap, I'm agree with you about the halo. It's the second time I repeat the same mistake, when reducing a large PSD format to a small JPG: missing the los sharpness, and correcting it too much... sorry ;-)

Do like I do: sharpen on a layer and then correct the sharpness with the opacity slider. It happens to me from time to time that I find I slide it back to 0...:o

Another trick, if you are on CS, go to "fade USM" and choose Luminosity. Fewer artefacts that way.
