Advertisement Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Hi marc_dufour, Take a look here Going down the breakwater. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
vdb Posted January 8, 2009 Share #2 Posted January 8, 2009 Wonderful in every way: moment, composition, texture, detail and tonal range. Well done!
stuny Posted January 8, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 8, 2009 Marc - I find that I usually agree completely with Virgil, and this is no exception. However, the image feels just a touch over processed -- or is it me?
marc_dufour Posted January 8, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted January 8, 2009 Virgil, Thanks a lot for looking and kind comment. Stuart, I agree with you. The original file (more than 100 Mb in PS) was very sharp, loosing a lot when I reduced to the jpg format. So I tried to recover some sharpness... I'm afraid that too much... Definitively, I've to improve my skill with raw format processing ;-) Thanks to both for your time and attention, Marc

marc_dufour Posted January 8, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted January 8, 2009 Merci, Martin. Sunday morning is when I can go and have a walk to the port. There is always something interesting to photograph. The selfmade equipment of these old fishermen is often full of surprises ;-) Marc
