The same view with an M8 and a panasonic TZ3

This is an interesting experiment. I had both cameras with me and used them both. Can you tell which is which?

You are right but did you look at the properties or really just the image?

There are no clouds at all being rendered with the Panasonic. Did you have a UV filter on the M8?

Yes, I have an IR UV filter on the M8.

Kirk, that may be my over saturation.

The difference shows immediately to me and the reason why I prefer Leica over all other brands including Panasonic. Leica captures the subtle variation of the sky tones. It's more evident in JPG shots, which is how I shoot.
