I LOVE this picture. It feels like something from another era. How did you do it without a flash and still get the outside so well exposed?

Thanks all for the positive feedback. The sun was creating a natural backlight on the young lady and so I underexposed the image by two stops, enough to properly expose the exterior but introduce deep shadows on the subject yet preserve the highlights and sun flares. I then hightened the contrast in PS. Hope this helps.
