arthury Posted December 31, 2008 Share #1 Posted December 31, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) M8 50mm Summilux ASPH It is so nice to listen to my daughter play her piano. It's more so when there was a stressful and major decision I had to make during this holiday season that will affect the entire family. That is, perhaps, why you guys did not see me around these days in this forum ... I am glad it is over now. Anyway, Happy New Year to all of you and I wish you all many more years of enjoyment from your Leica equipment.

vdb Posted December 31, 2008 Share #2 Posted December 31, 2008 Excellent capture. Beautiful and intense moment. Nearly monochrome, so may be even stronger image with B&W tones.

stuny Posted December 31, 2008 Share #4 Posted December 31, 2008 Arthur - You've been away from us for too long, but your "return" photo is stunning for subject, composition, light, color and selective focus. What was she playing (I know, a piano -- but what piece?)

arthury Posted December 31, 2008 Author Share #7 Posted December 31, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thank you so much, folks. As for Stuart's question about the piece, it was Solfegietto (composed by one of the Bachs).
