To think I used to live less that 5 minutes walk away from this place, oh how I love and miss Paris :-(

 

This is the detail of some railings at the top (northern end) of the Palais Royale. It was about 6 in the evening and the sun was about to disappear behind the building to the right. I'd just had a wonderful afternoon with an old Parisian friend and the glow of the sun on the tips of the railings seemed to sum up the afternoon.

Sunday was just one of those days where lots of things seemed to work - I have more photographs to post and a couple of panoramas to stitch :-), if only my roll of film in 'the challenge' had been exposed to so many good subjects.
