Overgaard Posted October 2, 2006 Share #2 Posted October 2, 2006 This has great life to it. I miss some contrast on them and the wall. But it still communicates rather strongly.
stuny Posted October 2, 2006 Share #3 Posted October 2, 2006 marcello - I agree completely with Thorsten's comments.
jeremy steel Posted October 4, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted October 4, 2006 Thanks for your opinions and I'm agree with you about contrast; perhaps I have made a little mistake during scan. Marcello
Overgaard Posted October 4, 2006 Share #5 Posted October 4, 2006 Could be that if you run auto, it will determine the highest white (which is the sky) and then the darkest black. And place all tones in between. But rather the sky should blast light out and then the rest would be lighter. You can play with it in PS (levels...). But it's quite good so if it turns unnatural by adjusting, then leave it.
azzo Posted October 4, 2006 Share #6 Posted October 4, 2006 MARCELLO..... always pay attention to the horizon. Regards azzo

I think it should be better you fix an appointment for an ophthalmology visit :-))) Thanks for your remarke. Marcello

thomasw_ Posted October 5, 2006 Share #10 Posted October 5, 2006 This has great life to it. I miss some contrast on them and the wall. But it still communicates rather strongly. I concur with this remark for the most part. My other thought is that there is too much sky in the image. When it is cropped, and a slight level of luminosity is added, it will be superb to me
azzo Posted October 5, 2006 Share #11 Posted October 5, 2006 MARCELLO....Just arrived from that appointment you fixed for me earlier. My eyes are fine. By the way, i fixed one for you.) wizard Posted October 6, 2006 Share #17 Posted October 6, 2006 This shot is leaning towards the left side, no question (first thing I noted, BTW). The vertical edges of the house's walls are NOT running parallel to the left edge of the frame, at least not in the version as posted here. Try to listen, Marcello, people are generally very helpful in this forum. Regards, Andy

jeremy steel Posted October 6, 2006 Author Share #19 Posted October 6, 2006 Dear friends; Yes, I'm a very hard headed...but I think Ivan is a terrible stubborn and he he has a little unbalance on sight. In any case, I've no time for controversials and I don't give a damn for what concerning a perpendicularity of the house'e wall, wich, in according to me, is perfect. Please, all of you, to note the absolute perpendicularity of a surrounding wall in a first floor, and the little sailboat, too. For what concerning the house near the beach, you must know that on the ocean, every day wind blow very hard, provoking a various eradications, upsetting of cars, frightful tsunami and the inclination of the house's walls, too; this's usual to me...perhaps you aren't. In any case, I prefer to finish this history off walls, because I don't wish to have with you any controversial, but in the same case I don't give a damn for what concerning the inclination about my photo and I'm in need on help. Thanks a lot to your remarks and opinions wich keep me, a hard sense of proud. Best regards to all people of Leica forum. Marcello
