Advertisement Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Hi Guest maddoc2003jp, Take a look here I love my M .... ;-). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
marke Posted June 5, 2009 Share #82 Posted June 5, 2009 Mark, now that is a very "special" M3 ! Now you have the counter-part to Joe's (RFF) cobalt-blue ZI ! Thanks, maddoc. Yes, Joe's cobalt blue ZI was the inspiration behind this. The first time I saw his cobalt blue ZI, I knew I HAD to do the same with this camera. marke Posted July 22, 2009 Share #93 Posted July 22, 2009 Recently acquired M3 with Mr. Zhou case Nice M3, msg. Love the collapsible Summicron. I have a very clean Elmar 50/2.8 for my M3, but would love the Summicron!
marke Posted July 22, 2009 Share #94 Posted July 22, 2009 Ned, I LOVE that BP 50 lux. Want to trade it for my black chrome? BTW, when did you pick up the M5?
NB23 Posted July 22, 2009 Share #95 Posted July 22, 2009 (edited) Mark! I am just about to post the lux in the for sale section! I'd love to trade but man, I need some of the money I spent on a 21mm summilux, and I am watching another lens I wish to get. I shot about 5 rolls with it in total and it comes with original boxes and all. I will make you a Special deal This particular 50mm lux preasph is a spectacular performer. The focus feel is outstanding and the focus accuracy is right on. Wide open photography with this lens is a gem! I got the M5 about 2 months ago. That camera is a different beast. I love it, I hate it, and then I love it some more. I went half-way around the world with this camera (and the M7) to tame it, to shoot it exclusively. It's a great camera for sure, but I can't let my M4-P go. So I still don't know what to do. But it's great for sure. Here's a shot done with this exact combo (lux bp + M5), a few weeks ago: Edited July 22, 2009 by NB23

marke Posted July 23, 2009 Share #98 Posted July 23, 2009 I looked at your websites. Lot of great photos, man...Is it possiible I saw some of them in LFI magazine? ciao Yes, Ned's work has been featured in LFI. Gosh darn it, Ned. I can't afford to buy any more camera gear for awhile. But it sure sounds like that's my dream lux. My wife and I need a vacation, and I don't think she would like the idea of me dipping into the vacation fund for another lens. NB23 Posted July 23, 2009 Share #99 Posted July 23, 2009 Gigi, yes it was me! I was lucky enough to be contacted by the magazine. Extremely honored. Gabor, feel reminiscent? Mark, you're right. This lens will look absolutely wonderful on your black paint MP. Your wife will get over it.
