Pictures of a unique guitar that I own. Back is curved in the style of renaissance guitars and the soundboard is made from an old piece of bearclaw spruce. When approaching the idea of photographing it I thought I'd use the partially refinished antique floorboards in my upstairs bedroom for contrast.

I imagine it sounds quite bright, yes? The body is shallow. That's not a criticism, I am merely saying it is a sonic / aesthetic decision. The back is quite interesting too. It is unusual to see a patternized / laminated back. My Ramirez 1a only has a mirror image jacqueranda back. Of course, it is a classical guitar and that is completely different (stylistically) than a brass wound-string acoustic.

I quite like the fingerboard detail. It is very unusual to see the neck carved and have the fingerboard inlayed. Normally, it is glued to the front of the neck with a purfling attached to the outside. This instrument is pretty interesting.

Who is the luthier?
