Advertisement Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 Hi fotografr, Take a look here A Rather Nice Sunset. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
martinop Posted September 29, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 29, 2006 Like the mpact of the unique sky colors & textures contrasted against the lighted dome, and the darker street / buildings @ the bottom of the frame..
fotografr Posted September 29, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted September 29, 2006 Thanks, Paul. Nice to hear from you. Have you been on a trip?
robert_parker Posted September 29, 2006 Share #4 Posted September 29, 2006 Striking colours and composition - I can almost see the flying saucer coming into view from the left !!
stuny Posted September 29, 2006 Share #5 Posted September 29, 2006 Brent - Ah, downtown Madison. Lovely for its light, composition and shadow details. I think, however, it could be a touch more effective rotated about 0.5 to 1.5 degrees to the left.

fotografr Posted September 30, 2006 Author Share #9 Posted September 30, 2006 Striking colours and composition - I can almost see the flying saucer coming into view from the left !! Thanks Robert. The saucer was actually just behind me.
fotografr Posted September 30, 2006 Author Share #10 Posted September 30, 2006 Brent - Ah, downtown Madison. Lovely for its light, composition and shadow details. I think, however, it could be a touch more effective rotated about 0.5 to 1.5 degrees to the left. Thank you, Stuart. I did a bit of perspective correction with LensDoc, but rotating the image to the left would make the Capitol building lean. And we all know what happens when our Capitols are out of alignment. like_no_other Posted October 1, 2006 Share #11 Posted October 1, 2006 I like the cyan-magenta contrast in this picture very much but would prefere a more concentrated picture without the foreground. Maybe a crop of the capitol helps. best regards Philip
MrEd Posted October 2, 2006 Share #12 Posted October 2, 2006 Hi Brent, My favorite cinematic effect is good to look at. We should see more images like this one. Thanks for sharing. Ed. .
