LCT how was this said to you in french 'nobody did like this'. I picture you slapping your forehead after receiving the news.

Now motion blur is not the result of a lack of a VF but due to not holding the camera square and firm to the subject. :D

View finder or not get this camera to market. Add the hotshoe for an attached viewfinder. Just get it into the stores next week.

There's something called bump up the ISO to reduce camera shake. I would hope that average p and s guys figure that out... geewhiz.

All that will really do is make your photos blurry AND noisy. A faster shutter speed would help but how often do you have that option on a point and shoot? It's easier to hold a camera steady when it is close to your body. They just need to add a hotshoe so an accessory viewfinder can be added. Problem solved. Those who want one can buy one while the rest can take pictures like your average cellphone user.

You give me the feeling that i am a newbie again my friend. :)

I was 30 or 40 years younger when i learnt that "it's easier to hold a camera steady when it is close to your body"*as John said above.

Even in the thirtees decent cameras had a viewfinder + accessory VF.

The lack of viewfinder in modern digicams is a technical and ergonomic regression IMHO.

Cameraphones sans phone sort of.
