....met this couple in Nantes, town on the french west side.

Yes it's a striking couple, well framed. Only thing I question is wether the picture wouldn't gain with a less shallow depth of field, revealing more detail in the mans fase, or even, focussing entirely on the face. No criticism, just wandering. Like it a lot.

nice doggy. The shallow depth of field draws attention to the dog rather well, in my opinion.

Thank you for stopping and your comments. This picture actually hangs in an exhibition as a 20x30cm print on fiber based paper and people seem to like the unusual focus alot.

I agree it has to be seen on a print to be better judged though
