Eoin Posted July 5, 2008 Share #8 Posted July 5, 2008 See what happens when they let you out unsupervised.... we have a saying here, "you can't get rid if a bad thing" and you're obviously living proof of that ! . Seriously though, glad you survived,

Guest stnami Posted July 6, 2008 Share #11 Posted July 6, 2008 I do..........reason I prefer the RD-1..........ease of use and 100 iso in bnw produces a better image than the leica for my needs asa I am not a detail freak
peter55 Posted July 6, 2008 Share #12 Posted July 6, 2008 Yea I like very much the image quality and analog controls of my Epson R-D1. It feels to me like my M5, only using a sensor instead of film.
mr_big Posted July 6, 2008 Share #13 Posted July 6, 2008 You are one very weird dude.
Amoment Posted July 6, 2008 Share #14 Posted July 6, 2008 Perhaps falling down there was an omen. Perhaps you should start being nice to people.
Guest stnami Posted July 6, 2008 Share #15 Posted July 6, 2008 I am nice you just take stuff too seriously it's a forum not life itself
Amoment Posted July 6, 2008 Share #16 Posted July 6, 2008 Many photographs taken of dark subjects, such as human conflict and poverty, make me think and because of that, I appreciate them. But, although your photographs, that I have seen, are different and technically good, I'm confused by the darkness, and struggle to understand what you are trying to say. Guest stnami Posted July 6, 2008 Share #17 Posted July 6, 2008 I am not a photographer it is just one of the tools I use so there is no need to view in the context of photography
Guest noah_addis Posted July 6, 2008 Share #18 Posted July 6, 2008 If you don't have one, how do you know it wouldn't have survived the fall? I (respectfully) think you should fall down the hill again with an M8 and see how it turns out...

Fotomiguel Posted July 7, 2008 Share #20 Posted July 7, 2008 My one reason to use a M8 is that I enjoy using the camera and the lenses. Easy to use and nice files. When you try to do artistic photography digging in your mind and transforming the file in something that becomes a artistic picture but no more a photography, any pocket camera will be fine for you.
