rob_x2004 Posted September 20, 2006 Share #1 Posted September 20, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Dear Florrie I have a bulk roll of APX. Actually I have several. No, a lot of 'em. Anyway on the current roll, the film brand name and the frame numbers in the margins are coming out upside down. I've never seen this before. And no, loader is right, the 6.2 wont take an upside down can, and I dont stand upside down all that often to take a pic. It is really odd on the light box. Even disconcerting. Ever experienced on APX? Signed Perplexed.
Advertisement Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Hi rob_x2004, Take a look here APX consternation.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
leicamann Posted September 20, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 20, 2006 No... but I have on occasion loaded my film with the spool the wrong way..upside down..and of course I have to open it up again in the "light bag" and rewind it properly. The only problem with that is the more you handle the film, the more dust, scratches and other junk you get on your film. I have gone through 2 100ft rolls of APX 100 this year ..no issues..maybe you got a "freak " roll? Its still usuable ? No? Are you sure you didn't accidentally flip the roll the wrong way in your bulk loader? Thanks for your post Regards, Leicamann

Findus Posted September 26, 2006 Share #4 Posted September 26, 2006 APX has been my prefered film for years and years and I have gone through quite some bulk rolls but never encountered this problem before, actually it shouldn't be able happen unless some deliberate human interaction is involved. rob_x2004 Posted September 27, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted September 27, 2006 Skimmed through a couple of hundred preservers, because I haven't seen it before either. Was going to take some digitals for Thomas, but I just couldn't be bothered. Maybe I will put the roll on ebay or soemthing. Reckon it will be valued like stamps without the perforations?
