Advertisement Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Hi elansprint72, Take a look here Jaguar, Type C.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted June 18, 2008 Share #2 Posted June 18, 2008 Pete - Really lovely, and your light set's it off so well. I was thinking of buying one for road use in around 1966 (affordable!). Would have been fun when it ran, but would have been a shame to subject it to that kind of treatment.
elansprint72 Posted June 21, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted June 21, 2008 Stuart, If only......... easily over a million dollars now. Thanks for commenting; looks like I'm playing to a minority crowd here.
stuny Posted June 25, 2008 Share #4 Posted June 25, 2008 Pete - I'm frequently mystified by how some fine photos receive little or no comment, and others that are very seriously flawed receive many comments, none of which address the flaws. Most recently in the former category, my two photos in the People section titled Modern Dining (http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/people/56850-modern-dining-2-images.html) received no comments. Perhaps end of school year activities, weddings and summer holidays have significantly reduced our ranks.
elansprint72 Posted June 25, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted June 25, 2008 :D I know of one member (who no longer posts) who used to PM his circle of cronies asking them to comment on his (usually crap) snaps. With the high number of posts these days shots quickly fall off the first screen and sometimes gems disappear. I know that there are a couple of members who from time to time trawl through the low-scorers and give them a second chance. Thanks again.
