Advertisement Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Hi roguewave, Take a look here 450 Sutton. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted June 17, 2008 Share #2 Posted June 17, 2008 Ben - To have so few people look at this superb image I can only assume that a large percentage of members are not on-line of late. Superb venue, light, color, angle and composition. For non-New Yorkers, Sutton Place is a very up-scale neighborhood.
azzo Posted June 17, 2008 Share #3 Posted June 17, 2008 Ben, You're capturing and rendering the most beautiful light and colours, enhancing them with a pleasing composition.
Guest suilvenman Posted June 17, 2008 Share #4 Posted June 17, 2008 You're right, Stuart. I just had time to catch this one at breakfast this morning but didn't have time to comment before dashing off to work. This is another example of Ben's beautiful studies of light in an urban setting. An excellent photo. Cheers, Ken.

roguewave Posted June 24, 2008 Author Share #7 Posted June 24, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks all & excuse my manners for not thanking you earlier. This area of Manhattan is not well known to tourists. I worked down the block at the UN for sometime in the Photography department and lunched in the parks here with colleagues. It is a special little enclave, very much worth a visit. It's quiet, has wonderful views and awesome light.

thompsonkirk Posted June 26, 2008 Share #9 Posted June 26, 2008 The shadow is as wonderful as the light: the tree shadow seems to be reaching out to encircle the window at right. Kirk
