albert Posted June 4, 2008 Share #1 Posted June 4, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) My daughter, Lizzy, and myself stood in line with 33,000 people to see Obama. We got in but 15,000 didn't. It was the number one place to be in the world last night. Saint Paul, Minnesota D-Lux

andybarton Posted June 4, 2008 Share #3 Posted June 4, 2008 Good shot. Which one in this shot is going to be the new President? Maybe we should have a "Where's Wally?" competition - nearest to the bulls-eye gets to have lunch with Hilary

albert Posted June 4, 2008 Author Share #6 Posted June 4, 2008 Thanks gentlemen. Ben, It was like the sixties without drugs, youth, and hair. We were part of a 1.6 mile-long line. There were no tickets and we all had to be metal-scanned one at a time. Everyone was full of enthusiasm and hope except for the professional photographers who looked very tired. hsw Posted June 5, 2008 Share #11 Posted June 5, 2008 Great framing/perspective to show the size of the crowd. The impressive resolving power of the D lux 3 even allows me to identify Barack and Michelle. I'm going to go get in line NOW for Nissan Pavilion tomorrow . Is Lizzy voting age? Cheers, Henry

fotografr Posted June 5, 2008 Share #14 Posted June 5, 2008 Did you see my sister? She was also there. I watched/listened to the speech on TV and thought it was superb. If this guy doesn't absolutely crush McCain, I'll be amazed and greatly disappointed.
