wilfredo Posted June 28, 2006 Share #2 Posted June 28, 2006 Bernardo: I hope it's cooling off in Spain, 115 F. is no fun. Intreresting shadows above and below in the frame. Wilfredo+
Dirk Van der Herten Posted June 28, 2006 Share #3 Posted June 28, 2006 Nice composition. Are you "downgrading" to digital again, Bernardo? ;-) Dirk
john_r_smith Posted June 29, 2006 Share #4 Posted June 29, 2006 Bernardo good to see you posting here. This is another of your classics, you old devil, a great composition and with a brilliantly restricted colour palette. I would have been tempted to do this in B/W, but the warm umber tones make the shot, actually. It is interesting how the distinction between film and digital is totally irrelevant - you could have done this on your M7 and it would have been great too, but no better. How come 40 people looked at this but only two were moved to comment? Ye gods, if only I could do half as well . . . . John
gareth_c Posted June 29, 2006 Share #5 Posted June 29, 2006 Lovely. The kind of image I always want to capture but never manage to 'see'...well done.
gverdon Posted June 29, 2006 Share #6 Posted June 29, 2006 Bernardo, let's go back to the old forum habits: it really is a bernardosian shot! I especially like, in this one, the almost monochromatic tonality. Gérald
marc_dufour Posted June 29, 2006 Share #7 Posted June 29, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) A classical bernardosian composition, as says Gérald. I like it: the game between light an shadows, the colors, and the subject. Well done, Bernardo. Marc
