Sandokan Posted October 14, 2006 Share #21 Posted October 14, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) After reading this in depth and suffering from poor D&P and scanning - I think I will also try this. It will have to be done in my office though (the wife is paranoid enough with the crawling brat around) and I probably wont avoid dust, so will have to clean negatives before scanning. Advertisement Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Hi Sandokan, Take a look here B&W film + developer recommendations?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
rob_x2004 Posted October 14, 2006 Share #22 Posted October 14, 2006 I travelled all the way across to my film supplier yesterday and he has sold four and three quarter thousand Aust dollars worth of film last week alone. Going back to Rodinal for a bit.
ejd Posted October 14, 2006 Share #23 Posted October 14, 2006 Yesterday, at R G Lewis in central London, a sign advertized Agfapan APX 100 and 400. It is dated late 2010 and was 25 pounds for ten, so bought ten of each. I've been using Rodinal to develop Adox/Efke 25 and 100 and various Ilford films (Delta 100 and 400 and 3200, FP4+, HP5+)
fotohuis Posted October 14, 2006 Share #24 Posted October 14, 2006 For B&W scanning (E.I. 200-400) I can advise you the Rollei R3 B&W cubic 3-layer film. Made on clear PET layer and non-curling layer for perfect flatness. It scans easily and is available at Vanbar. Best development (E.I. 400-1000) in RHS/AM74. Around iso 200 you can try D76. Alternative: RLS/CG512 for the low E.I. range. http://www.fotohuisrovo.nl/documentatie/Development_Rollei%20films.pdf Do not forget the presoak. For this film it's important.
