mikemgb Posted June 28, 2017 Share #714 Posted June 28, 2017 I just finished building my M2 Travel kit. M2 with quick load kit, Leicameter MR, 35mm Nikon f3.5 LTM with adapter, 50mm Summicron DR, 90mm Elmar. The idea is if I find myself using either the 35mm or 90mm a lot I'll replace these with "better" versions. I just spent the evening shooting with the 90mm on XP2 and I'm looking forward to seeing the results. Welcome, dear visitor! Mute-on Posted September 3, 2017 Share #717 Posted September 3, 2017 Packing for 4 days in Scotland and 6 days in London, I hope this will be enough. m2packed.jpg I always allow two rolls per day on a trip (and always come back with some unexposed ) Otherwise I'd have a 35 over the 90 for cities and landscapes. Actually, maybe just the 35 Enjoy your trip!
mikemgb Posted September 3, 2017 Share #718 Posted September 3, 2017 I always allow two rolls per day on a trip (and always come back with some unexposed ) Otherwise I'd have a 35 over the 90 for cities and landscapes. Actually, maybe just the 35 Enjoy your trip! I'm taking my 109 and Sofort as well so I think this will be enough film. If not I figure I can probably find somewhere in London to buy more. As for the lenses, I just finished a road trip through the American Wild West, The Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone and a bunch of towns in between. I took 35, 50 and 90mm, I used the 90mm about 25% of the time but I never used the 35mm, because of this I'm going to leave the 35 at home and see how it goes.
Mute-on Posted September 3, 2017 Share #719 Posted September 3, 2017 The only thing better than an M2 is another M2 (for your second lens, film, that space in your bag, your other shoulder, balance, symmetry in general, or simply because )
NB23 Posted September 3, 2017 Share #720 Posted September 3, 2017 Packing for 4 days in Scotland and 6 days in London, I hope this will be enough. m2packed.jpg On shirt trips, I plan 20 rolls a day. On long trips, I plan 2-4 rolls per day.
