I kind of liked this, guess it is a thing about simplicity and juxtaposition. I felt it worked in b&w and maybe is too complex in colour.

 

Maybe it needs re framing to separate the face from the strong vertical, maybe getting divider/gap behind her, so you sort of get a one two three rather than a one two visual cue. It's your room.
