Advertisement Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Hi ChristopheBoete, Take a look here Graffiti. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
sfage Posted September 4, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 4, 2006 Have you considered a smaller portion of the wall? The spot next to the "2PC" and the small, hollow male figure... I'd see if I can get something in there. It looks like there is a lot of activity and texture to pull out of that space.
ChristopheBoete Posted September 5, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted September 5, 2006 thanks for the comment Shane! I usually do not like to change the image after I 've shot it but that seems to be an interesting idea... I'll try to look at this small portion of the wall and maybe post it later. C. sfage Posted September 5, 2006 Share #4 Posted September 5, 2006 No, I wouldn't change the image either. What I meant to say is that you might consider re-shooting the shot.... or, maybe a different wall altogether. I do a lot of this sort of work. It's fun but it's really hard. It's difficult because it takes a lot of time to actually find something in a mess!!! I think the artistic "ethic" (at least for me) is to change the shot from a wall of graffitti to a found object. This image was about 5 or 6 inches of an entire wall of mess. To my eye it is a mountain scenery.
