Trutta Posted 2 hours ago Share #1 Posted 2 hours ago Advertisement (gone after registration) I’m new to the M5 and was curious if this version of the Leica 21mm f/2.8 Elmarit-M [11134] serial number 3685072 is compatible with the M5? Any help would be great!
Advertisement Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Hi Trutta, Take a look here Leica 21mm f/2.8 Elmarit-M [11134]. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Alexander108 Posted 1 hour ago Share #2 Posted 1 hour ago Any M lens is compatible. What makes you believe that this might not be the case?
lct Posted 1 hour ago Share #3 Posted 1 hour ago The Elmarit 21/2.8 protrudes less into the body than the Super-Angulon 21/3.4 so it should fit at least as well as the later which is compatible with the M5 but i have no experience with the M5 sorry. The back end of the lens can interfere with the light meter arm, that was the reason I was asking.
BernardC Posted 1 hour ago Share #5 Posted 1 hour ago The Elmarit M was released after the M5. It is compatible, unlike the f:4.0 21 Super-Angulon. The 3.4 Super-Angulon is compatible if built in 1971 or later (some earlier lenses may have been modified to fit).
