Michael Geschlecht Posted August 18 Share #2 Posted August 18 (edited) Hallo Minfujileica, Willkommen an die Forum. Ich muss diese auf English erklaren. This is an accessory that allows a person to use the behind the lens light meter in their camera to make INCIDENT light meter readings. You attach this to the lens you are using the same way you would put on a filter. A similar accessory was made to use with Weston selenium cell meters. Such as a Weston Master V. If you find an instruction book for a Weston Master V it will explain INCIDENT METERING. Many other meter manufacturers made similar accessories for their meters. Some had much smaller, white, translucent hemispheres. Most of them work well. Incident metering is quick, accurate & reliable in many (But not all.) circumstances. Some people prefer incident metering to behind the lens or reflected light metering.
