Advertisement (gone after registration)

I've requested to be taken off the auto-renew year after year and I'm still being charged.  There is no function for unsubscribing under settings and I've email this place 5 times and NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME.  Nor have I ever received a refund for the last two years.   GET ME OFF THIS BS AND GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! ! ! ! !

It isn't clear what you are subscribed to, but if the admin of the site isn't responding just cancel the bank or PayPal etc. direct debit at your end. One Leica site such as LFI (Leica Fotographie International) which I don't think has anything to do with the Leica Forum have a record of demanding money and ignoring the cancellation of subscriptions, so just cut them off and stop them taking money.

The user had subscribed to the Premium Membership some years ago.

I have never received a complaint, but this may other reasons (spam filter, whatever)

I just refunded the last payment.

That`s useful to know.

I buy my copy of Foto whenever a visit a Leica dealer but have often thought about subscribing.

I won`t be doing so now.

This should be a professionally run site if you're going to charge people for Premium.  It shouldn't take me having to blow the matter up in threads, after all these years, to get their attention.  It's Leica after all, for the love of God, act like it.  Still waiting for the refund and cancellation email.   Crickets for years.  Lets see how long this takes.

@LUF Admin has confirmed that your last payment was refunded to you. 

Perhaps you could check with your Credit Card company and confirm receipt of the refund.

Speaking of „contact me“: I still have not found any message from you. No mail, no forum message. You could have even called me or sent me a postcard – the forum imprint includes full postal address, full phone numbers. As said before: Shit happens, spam filters or human errors on my side too.

Speaking of „refund immediately“: You started this thread on Wednesday evening 9.19 pm (all times CEST), I answered about two hours later (late at night, at 11 pm) and refunded your payment (full amount, Stripe has deducted a small fee) without any further questions.

Payment providers sometimes need some time, but from my side I did everything possible.

I also completely understand that emotions run high if you have the impression being cheated. But it would be nice if you tone down a bit after my quick and positive reply to your complaint in all caps.

Update: I found the mails from @Hernanink in the spam folder and refunded the amount paid in March 2024 too.

Sorry, my fault.

In such cases (if I'm not replying to your mails): Please try to contact me on any other channel like PM.

I really try to keep you happy (not only premium members), sometimes I don't get all messages…
