Hello,

I would like to know if the Exifs are available in RAW when mounting a Zeiss ZF2 lens with the Novoflex SL/NIK adapter (with contactors) on SL/SL2-S/SL2 cameras?

Thanks in advance!

I use the ZE versions from Zeiss on the SL2-S via Sigma MC-21 and it writes the focal length, maximum aperture and aperture used in the exifs. The camera also applies the focal length for the stabilizer.

Here is an example for the Otus 85 (left) and Planar classic (right)

Thank you for your answer!

The lens name is not communicated in the exifs?

I'm looking for informations about Zeiss ZF mount. The Novoflex SL/NIK adapter is no longer manufactured.

But I have never seen the Novoflex adapter and it is most likely no longer manufactured?

The Novoflex adapter is only compatible with the original SL (2015). Later models such as the SL2, SL3, and all Sigma, Lumix, and Blackmagic L-mount cameras are incompatible with the Novoflex adapter and should use Sigma's adapter instead.

As far as I know, there are no Sigma adapters with contactors for Nikon F Mount.

I believe that the (Sigma-) ZE version is the better option anyway, simply because of the focus direction that suits Leica.

Yes, but I prefer the ZF version with the aperture ring, which are adaptable to all camera brands.

Sure, but if you can already use an automatic aperture, you do it. You will never use the aperture ring anyway if the camera can control it. As far as I know, the aperture ring for open aperture metering on Nikon must also be set to A?
Canon EF also works on Sony, Fuji and MFT (Metabones, for example).
