Jeremy Kilburn Posted May 4 Share #1 Â Posted May 4 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have an issue with my Leica Q which has only just occurred after 5 years or so shooting with no problem. The Preview image on the rear screen has thin white lines across the image surface in a regular quite complex form of both parallel and diagonal white lines come of which join together to form a geometrical pattern. The taken image can be seen behind the lines. When viewed through the view finder the lines are not present and the same apples when the image is downloaded. I can only assume that the problem is either with the rear viewing screen or the software that controls it . Has anyone else come upon this problem? Advertisement Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Hi Jeremy Kilburn, Take a look here Strange red/green artifacts on rear screen. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted May 4 Share #2  Posted May 4 This sounds like a rear screen that needs to be replaced. Not a common problem. Post a photograph for a more informed diagnosis and send the camera to Leica for repair.
