Paul2660 Posted April 10 Share #1 Posted April 10 Advertisement (gone after registration) After searching on this forum I am still unsure if the Leica Remote Cable Release RC-SCL6 works on the SL3 In the camera manual for the SL3 it shows what appears to be a USB-C port for the remote which the RC-SCL6 doesn’t have. I have the SL2 and understand the remote port on it is not a USB -C style port. Thanks Paul
Advertisement Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Hi Paul2660, Take a look here SL3 Remote release question. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Ken Abrahams Posted April 10 Share #2 Posted April 10 The original remote switch for SL 601 doesn’t work on later models but the SL 2 remote works on SL3 and SL3S I have two remotes for when I have cameras set on tripods for Train photography and the 601 remote redundant and to be sold with camera when I get around to that. Jörg SL2s Posted April 10 Share #3 Posted April 10 The RC-SCL6 remote shutter release definitely fits the SL3. The camera has two round ports on the side. The RC-SCL6 remote shutter release works with both.
Paul2660 Posted April 10 Author Share #4 Posted April 10 Thanks to both. Manual is a bit confusing. This confirms what I hoped in that the ports were the same as the SL2. Paul
