hansvons Posted February 23 Share #41  Posted February 23 Advertisement (gone after registration) If I were Leica, I‘d reissue the King of Bokeh. That name alone would make Leica sell it like hotcakes, and I'd buy one.

Alberti Posted February 23 Share #42 Â Posted February 23 KOB. Same here. I miss my 35mm V4 so much. [I traded in against 35mm/FLE - no regrets -Â I must say I have grown to appreciate that new addition very much.]Â a 35mm Summaron-M - Thinking out loud, with all the qualities of the 28mm Summaron-M it would be great. [I now use a Canon 35/2.8 that has something magical to the pictures, also because the lens has a slight yellow cast due to old glass.]
didier Posted February 23 Share #43  Posted February 23 I’d like a Summicron 2/40 reissue
lct Posted February 23 Share #44 Â Posted February 23 A Summicron 50/2 with 0.5m MFD. Cosina did it with the Skopar 50/2.2. Not that i dislike the great Summicron 50/2 DR but one focus range is easier to use than two. Of course this new Summicron would not need goggles and could be used in RF mode down to 0.7m. Perfect 50 for an EVF-M if any.

I have the 35-frame line selected - On the M8 the 35mm framelines fit oh so snug. On the M9 it is just so-so. But on the M10 I mis the outline often. So a 40mm is nice, but should fit in. It should fit in with the total. Or commercially there might be low take up. Maybe that great 43mm can be re-used, giving a lax 50mm, just as the Planar 45mm M-shooters are accustomed to.
