I have had my Leica CL since its release. I bought mine directly from Leica with the package deal of an 18 f2.8. It wasn't until recently that I thought about adding one additional lens to get some extra speed. I researched and read opinions on this or that lens. Then I look at the cost and notice prices have not gone down.

The other thing I'm curious about is how many people are still using their CL?

My CL is used daily (since acquired 2019) I have a TTArtisans 50mm, Meike 85mm, 60mm Elmarit TL, 18-56 Vario TL, 23mm Summicron TL, finally a 35mm Summaron with adapter. It’s a great camera, sad that Leica never made a Mkll…

I have had mine since 2018, I have the 11-23, the 23 for CL/TL lenses, then I adapt my M lenses, 25 Canon,35Summilux pre asph,50 V1 Summicron,90 Elmarit, and 135 Tele Elmar. I also have 2 Nikon lenses I use regularly a 105 f2.8 micro and a 200 f4 micro. Have to admit I have a 55 f1.4 7 Artisans lens which works for me. The M lenses also work on my M3 and M8. I use the CL more than my M cameras.

Bought my first one in March 2018,   mostly use it with 23mm and 60mm, have the 18, 11-23 and 18-56 but they don't get too much use.

I drowned one so that's why I have the 18mm - was cheaper buying new body with lens than body only.

It's a fine camera, small, light, great viewfinder, good lenses, I'll probably pick up another body as a spare.

I’ve had my CL, the three zooms and various primes since well before the pandemic. These days it supplements my Q3 43 to provide additional focal lengths, but it is still as fun to use as it was when I bought it.

If Leica had updated the line with a CL2 I would have been first in line to buy one. That’ll never happen now so I’ll just keep enjoying the CL until it stops. I could sell it now for more than I paid for it, but I’m not tempted.

Like others I have had mine for several years. Bought it new from Leica store and have loved it ever since. I throw all sorts of lenses on it, Leica M, SL, Sigma, a few Chinese ones and it has never failed me.  I use my M10 R the most, but the CL runs a close second. My least favorite is my SL2 which is about to be shipped to N.J. since the three buttons on the back no longer want to work!  I consider Leica's decision to discontinue the CL their wosrt mistake yet. I don't know anyone who uses one who doesn't like it a great deal. Perhaps Leica will repent and introduce a new one, but I doubt it. They seem to concentrate on the Luxury Lines more than practical user cameras.

I still have and use mine as I think it is one of the best cameras Leica have brought to market. I have four lenses for it as well as TL and TL2 bodies. Much prefer them to my Q2 and SL2-s.

In my opinion Leica made a spectacularly dumb move discontinuing the system as not everyone wants to tote around the behemoth SL stuff, or have a non interchangeable lens camera from the Q line-up.

As much as I love my Leica gear I have become a little disappointed with Leica’s strategy now that the more affordable CL/TL line is no more. For the first time in decades I have been buying into another system that I now run side by side with my Leica stuff. This would never have happened had they not discontinued the system.

Still have and use the CL. Nice  size, good functionality, lots of flexibility. Largely use with the 18-56, which is lovely. Also the 23 for low light and small size. Rarely use the excellent 55-135.

The high ISO performance is a bit behind the times. Would love any kind of replacement. Wondering about an M10R as a possibility to use with M lenses...

Not being a professional photographer, I use the iPhone Pro the most, followed by the Leica TL2, which is similar to the CL.
I'm very happy with the TL2, but angry with Leica for abandoning the PSC.

I think Leica have previous when it comes to bad management decisions.

I have the CL with the 18mm, 11-23mm, and 18-56mm. I use it for hiking, especially long distance walks. Clipped to the shoulder strap of my daypack, it really can't be beat for the outdoors.

I also have an SL2 with 35 and 75mm APO's.

Now I'm in a quandary: which system to take to southern Spain for two weeks! I'm actually thinking about taking the SL2 with the 75 APO and the 11-23 TL for a walk around lens.

Not sure where you're based, but you missed a time window when TL mount lenses actually were down in price significantly. A couple years back you could find mint-y samples of the incredibly versatile 11-23mm for around $1250 for example. Same with the 16-55 (well under $1K), and so on. CameraWest has a nice 2nd-hand 35mm Lux in stock right now for around $1400. You just have to look and be a bit patient if you want to build out that system.

For travel, btw, I prefer my TL2 to my CL, sometimes with one lens only.

Just tourism in Andalucia!

I would take either the CL with 18-56 for general use. It's light and adaptable. With denoise programs you don't need to worry about high ISO.

Or go with CL with 11-23 if you were going to be shooting the interiors of buildings like churches, the Alcazar castle, or the Alhambra in Grenada, or narrow street scenes. If you need more range I would add Sigma 30mm f/1.4 or for more portrait type shots, the Sigma 56 f/1.4.

I would take a max of two lenses and aim for the lightest combination.

Thanks for the thoughts; I'm going to take the CL with the 11-23 and the 18-56. I actually did a comparison shoot with all five lenses on the CL and the SL2, and the CL images, while not equal, were damn good!

That's almost exactly what I took last summer. I had the 18 as well as it functions as a dust cap when the camera's in the bag I use, and looking through my shots I seemed to use it quite a bit. Once or twice I was annoyed that I hadn't taken the 60mm as there were some tolerant lizards I would have liked to photograph and the 18-55 wouldn't let me get as close as I am used to with my Canon kit lenses.

I've only had mine a year so would hope to 'still' be using it. It was a hard decision to buy into a system that has been discontinued, which is perhaps the OP's conundrum. It's still a fine camera for what I want it for.

I use mine a lot! Bought mine second hand in 2020 and I have the Sigma 10-18, the TL35, TL 55-135 and a Sigma 70 Macro to scan negatives (mainly from my R8). Love the camera and it works like a charm!! The TL35 being my absolute favourite.
