.HorsesRear Posted November 23 Share #1 Posted November 23 Advertisement (gone after registration) My oldest son is in Hong Kong and he sent me a picture of the Leica store which I thought was cool. He tried to go in and look around but was denied entry because he did not have a coat and tie on. So he walked across the street and ordered a steak and fries for lunch. I was wondering is this the same for all Leica stores to require a coat and tie. I have never been in one of the stores but would like to. However, I got rid of all my ties when I retired. I was in the Hong Kong Leica Store (in Causeway Bay) last October, and I certainly wasn’t in a coat and tie. Browsed, chatted to the chap there - it was nice and friendly. benqui Posted November 28 Share #6 Posted November 28 I was there last year (jeans and T-shirt) and the people inside have been were friendly. I liked the store a lot. Really crazy that it was a problem to enter the store without a coat and tie.
