Dear all,

my researches lead to very different results.

It seems that both extenders (1.4 and 2.0) fit - at least - Leica and Sigma.

But which lenses? Maybe anybody here has some practical insights...

(Sure that I have read at Leica. But that seems incomplete.)

Thanks a lot in advance

Stefan

Sigma writes regarding TC 1411. So wherever I look...

I ask myself if I should buy Leica or Sigma - or are those 100% identical?

If I buy 1411 (Leica or Sigma) does it work with 70-200 Leica, Sigma 105 seems too.

Nobody has been able to show an IQ difference between Sigma lenses and Leica clones. Both L mount and thus compatible

Lots of people and site reported differences between Leica's 24-70 and the two versions of Sigma's "DN" 24-70, which have 3 different optical schemas. Several people here reported differences between the 100-400 lenses, but that may be down to testing and sample variation.

However, the question is about lens compatibility with the two teleconverters, which seem to be optically the same for Sigma and Leica. Any compatibility differences would be in the firmware. I know that several people have confirmed that the 100-400 and 70-200 are compatible both ways. I don't recall if anyone has confirmed that the Sigma 60-600, 150-600, and 105 macro work with Leica's teleconverters. Presumably they should be, maybe someone here has those and can confirm.
