PeterKelly Posted July 16, 2024 Share #1 Posted July 16, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am unable to connect any of my cameras (M11 M10M and Q3) to Leica FOTOS app. It's extremely frustrating as they connect perfectly to my iPad. The App finds the camera, seems to connect to the WLAN and then hangs up and won't connect to Bluetooth. Is anyone else experiencing this and does anyone have any solutions or work arounds. My phone is also not very consistent in connecting to Apple Car Play in my car. It works about 50% of the time. The Apple (so called...) Genius folks have not been very helpful. jaapv Posted July 17, 2024 Share #4 Posted July 17, 2024 I assume you also switched data roaming in general, and local network access and mobile data for the app on ?

jaapv Posted July 17, 2024 Share #6 Posted July 17, 2024 Make sure both your app and phone are on their lates version. What iOS are you running? There are a number of connection tutorials in the settings menu of the app. If all fails pick up the phone and call Leica CS.

elmars Posted July 17, 2024 Share #8 Posted July 17, 2024 This has also happened to me. Try the following: remove the camera in the Leica app and (!) delete it from the list of Bluetooth devices on the iPhone. That helped me. If not: carry out the previous steps and also delete the app.

wlaidlaw Posted July 22, 2024 Share #10 Posted July 22, 2024 Run reset network settings on your iPhone. I have often found that cures intractable connection problems. It is a bit of a pain as it loses wifi passwords and some other passwords and you have to enter SIM passcode again but worth trying. We just had a similar problem today as I gave my grandson for his birthday, a Kodak Instant Mini-2 printer. I could get my iPhone to connect to it and print but the print button on his iPhone was greyed out. We deleted the app, ran Reset Network settings and reloaded the app and all was well. Photo_Rick Posted July 24, 2024 Share #11 Posted July 24, 2024 @PeterKelly: On your troublesome iPhone, I wonder if you have "Local Network" set to authorized (slider moved to the right so the background turns green) in the Settings menu --Settings -> Leica FOTOS -> Local Network. (FWIW, I do not think some of the other idea set forth here will solve your issue -- but this one may not either.)
