thrid Posted May 24, 2024 Share #1 Posted May 24, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Recently I contacted Leica Service in New Jersey about blocking the 75/90/135mm frame lines on my M11 to declutter the viewfinder. This was possible in the past, but unfortunately Leica no longer performs this service. According to the email I received the only customizations that Leica will perform these days are top plate engravings and leatherette changes. That's unfortunate. Blocking frame lines was a common mod that DAG, Golden Touch and others could perform on film bodies, but apparently none of the independent shops will touch a digital M with a ten foot pole.
