Ok, that was about 15 years ago, but I don't think that price was irrational in any way. I have no idea about the current going price though.... As I'm sure you already know, Wizard, the price of M-lenses nowadays has little resemblance to the asking prices from 15 years ago... Having had a quick scan through those 'KOB' lenses advertised through dealerships here in the UK prices vary from € 2550 in OK-ish condition to € 2953 for a lens in a really clean state. All the ones I saw (admittedly only a sample-group of five lenses) were ELC-made. I have a suspicion that examples made in Germany will be more expensive still. Whether those prices are 'rational' will be a matter for buyers to decide! 😸 Philip.

Almizilero Posted May 21, 2024 Author Share #42  Posted May 21, 2024 So far, I'm really happy with my choice. It had it's first real outing over the weekend with a couple of street portraits during a gothic event in the city. I just went what the heck and shot wide open most of the time to get a feel for the rendering. I especially like the look for BW conversion, but it's also interesting in colour. But it realy depends on the image, more often than not I prefered the shot with a smaller aperture.  Welcome, dear visitor!
